Drama Mavericks are thrilled to be hosting an event for local writers to join our line-up in February 2026 at Norwich Puppet Theatre.

Our focus is on on modern writing and this is an opportunity for a new local writer to showcase their talents.

More details will be coming, but we wanted to share some features in advance;

It should be an extract or scene or a fully written piece lasting no more than 20 minutes requiring very simple staging.

Technical lighting and sound will be available, plus some rehearsal time.

There will be opportunities for one or more of the plays to be staged again at this venue and potentially other venues.
